  • Background Location: Collected ONLY during active trips to provide real-time tracking to customers and ensure trip safety. Background location collection automatically stops when a trip is completed or cancelled.

2.3 App Activity

  • Login Events: Recorded for account security purposes.
  • Trip Status: Including trip acceptance, start time, and completion time for service fulfillment.

2.4 Device Information

  • Device ID: Collected for security purposes and crash diagnostics to improve App stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To verify your identity and maintain your account
  • To enable trip acceptance, navigation, and completion
  • To provide real-time location to customers during active trips
  • To send trip-related push notifications
  • To ensure platform security and prevent fraud
  • To diagnose technical issues and improve App performance
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

  • To Customers: Your name, location during active trips, and vessel information are shared with customers for trip coordination.

Background location collection automatically stops when:

  • You complete a trip
  • You cancel a trip
  • You go offline in the App

You can disable background location at any time through your device settings, though this may affect your ability to complete active trips.

9. Age Requirement

The Tripboat Mitra App is intended for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via your registered contact information. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
